It was very well filled today, which is why we waited outside for 15 minutes. It was definitely worth it! We were allowed to take our dog with us and the service was super friendly! The drinks came quickly and the hot chocolate was great too. Our food came quickly too and was very good. A nice Viking restaurant with a nice ambience. We'd love to come back!

Rustic restaurant, lovingly furnished. We had to wait a bit until a table was available - reservations are not possible - but that didn't bother us. Despite a full house and a lot to do, the service was super nice. The food is hearty and very tasty and at an acceptable price. The bottom line is a very pleasant experience at a good price / performance ratio.

We are there every time we are on Usedom. Food tastes great, very plentiful. And above all, it's an experience. The waitresses are always very friendly. Price performance top.

As always, great here ... What I really like is that you don't need to make reservations and you just wait until a table is free and you can eat. It's definitely worth it for good food. Many restaurateurs on the island should cut a slice of it right now at Corona time. Keep up the good work ... We'll be back and would be happy to recommend you.

The taste and quality are very good, but there was no hygiene concept (waitresses generally wear a mask on their chin or not at all, tables are not or not regularly disinfected after a visit). Value for money leaves a lot to be desired, too small portions for too high a price, eaten main course for € 20 and left the shop hungry.

The waitress didn't feel like serving outside, ergo, on the pretext that it might be raining soon, she didn't let any guests sit at the outside tables. Unfortunately, I have to say - the best food in a restaurant is not useful if the service is not particularly good. Since no reservations are accepted in the restaurant and the rooms inside are not very large, guests are always waiting for seats in the evening.

Our evening there was very good. The restaurant is awesome. The staff was very nice and friendly. The whole atmosphere there is adapted to the Vikings. And the food was super good. We'd love to come back and recommend it to others.

You don't need a reservation here, which is very positive. We were really looking forward to this restaurant and imagined a quaint, cozy restaurant with delicious food, but unfortunately we cannot understand the many good reviews on August 31, 2020. The welcome was gruff rather than warm and the food was rather mediocre. The meat was dry, the fries not crispy and the food was not well presented. Unfortunately, the price / performance ratio wasn't right at all. We have already eaten much better in many restaurants in Ahlbeck! Then from 7:30 p.m. it seemed that there was no longer any mask requirement, because almost all the waitresses suddenly ran around completely without a mask. I find that rather worrying during a pandemic, no matter how you feel about it personally. Unfortunately, this also encouraged the guests not to take it so seriously anymore. In any case, we won't be back. A little tip to the owners: Meat from the grill and not from the pan, an ambience appropriate to the name, perhaps even with the appropriate background music, would certainly do this restaurant very well. 😉

Give the Vikings a tape measure! The tables for two are so close together that the waiters (without face masks!) Can barely get through and all are occupied! It doesn't help me that the meat was seared to perfection, the salad and smoked salmon were delicious when I have to worry about my health. I also saw it with other guests: eat up food quickly and get out again! What a shame!

Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Tables a bit close together, the 1.5m are just kept. Toilets clean. Prices perfectly okay. 1 star deduction for no possibility of card payment, as well as the waiters who did not take orders but instead (unfortunately a few times only 5 minutes later) sent a colleague over. But it was a very nice stay and we'd love to come back.

Very popular. You have to bring some time and wait to get a table, but it's worth the wait! The food is very tasty, on point and plentiful on the plate. The prices are justified and the choice is wide. The ambience is cozy, according to the name. Only the music doesn't really fit. The service was also nice, despite the constant stress. We visited the restaurant today. The service was very nice ... here we had french fries and currywurst, spare ribs and the Viking plate and we made the right decision ... everything was delicious.

We imagined more about it in terms of food. The food is good but nothing special. Schnitzel and chicken breast fairly dry. The fish dish was good .... fried potatoes are too greasy and not crunchy at all. The service was very nice and attentive. The ambience is great.

We were here on Saturday and Sunday, the food was very good. As a main course, schnitzel will be included in the rating, as I had this during our visits. The food was very well prepared and the side dishes, the small salad and the beer were just as flawless. For: service ... at the table the service is quick, but before someone was there to settle the bill, it took 15 - 20 minutes. But it wasn't too crowded, so you don't know what was going on in that time. Perhaps we will eat there again and will be able to rate other dishes. We recommend taking a look there.

Abrupt service, or were they trying to be Vikings?  Not at all flexible with the menu even though stated could change for additional price, take it or leave it attitude. Food ok but nothing special for the price. Vegetables of the season from frozen not fresh. Mead beer just a gimmick, nothing great.
